Baum und Pferdgarten’s Autumn Winter 2026 collection, Airborne, explores the tension between structure and softness, precision and expression. Designed by creative directors Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave, the collection draws inspiration from the golden age of aviation and the hands-on world of physical labour that surrounded it - a universe shaped by discipline, uniforms, and utility.

At its centre stands Amelia Earhart, the pioneering aviator who moved effortlessly between worlds. A record-breaking pilot, author, and trailblazer, she navigated a field defined by technical rigour and functionality while maintaining a strong sense of personal expression. On duty, her wardrobe reflected the demands of aviation: structured uniforms, mechanical workwear, and functional layers built for performance and protection. Off duty, a contrasting sensibility emerged through dresses, scarves, florals, and tactile materials. This contrast becomes the foundation of the collection.

Airborne interprets rigid silhouettes through a softened, expressive lens. Aviator-inspired jackets, uniform shirts, distressed leather, and rigid denim form the backbone of the wardrobe. Outerwear plays a central role - puffed jackets, structured coats, and oversized aviator silhouettes dominate, evoking protection, strength, and adventure. These utilitarian foundations are offset by fluid dresses, lace trims, scarf-inspired details, and lightweight fabrics that introduce movement and delicacy.

Delicate floral prints reference moments of off-duty elegance, while checks, oily dot patterns, and workshop-inspired motifs nod to uniforms and mechanical environments. The colour palette blends earthy neutrals and worn workwear tones with deep reds and muted prints.

The Airborne collection embraces the coexistence of strength and sensitivity, craftsmanship and glamour. Inspired by pioneers who moved freely between roles and expectations, the collection honours precision, individuality, and the freedom to define one’s own expression - both on the ground and in the air.

The Baum und Pferdgarten Autumn Winter 2026 collection will be available from August 2026.
